Types of Instruction
The Fred Astaire teaching method includes Private lessons as well as our regularly scheduled group sessions.
The private sessions with two or more teachers will provide you with the specialized and personal attention every
student needs in order to develop the technique to make them an excellent dancer. Group lessons are an
excellent supplement to the private sessions. They will help in developing your leading and following skills as well
as aid in speeding up your rate of learning.

Parties, Practice Sessions, and Dancing Events
Parties and Practice Sessions are scheduled regularly and are designed to provide the perfect atmosphere where
it is possible to practice with the staff and other students. Parties are held for Fred Astaire enrolled students only.
Guest Parties are also available in order to acquaint friends and family members of students to studio activities,
private sessions, group classes, and regular parties, where they can be among others who can dance well. Fred
Astaire also promotes national and regional dance championships that offer professional and amateur dancing.

Lesson Days and Times
The Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Canal Winchester is Open for Regularly Scheduled Private lessons Monday
through Friday. We are also open on Saturdays by Appointment.
Our Monday through Friday Lesson Times are 1:15 to 5:00 in the afternoon, and 6:30 to 9:30 in the evening.
All Private lessons are scheduled in advance.
